Jordan, written to Anon to J. for the purpose of updating the Wiki

According to Jordan, artists that have been featured on the station include Jennie J, Tori Lynn, Celeste Kellogg, Emma McGann, Ashley Taylor, and slated to feature Christina Grimmie before her passing in 2016.

On the J-Man Radio website, Jordan chronicles the early history of the station, including its creation and original logos. The official history reads as follows:

Started Off As A Dream

J-Man Radio started off as a dream a hobby that turned into a reality after the first logo was created at East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) by the multimedia class In 2014 where our Owner Jordan Adler studied all aspects of Radio Broadcasting at for two and half years that helped get his dream career started!

The Beginning

J-Man Radio was founded on Janaury 3 of 2015 by Jordan Adler. Fresh off of Cyber FM airwaves, Jordan started researching ‘how to create radio stations’ and found Caster FM as a streaming provider, on January 3,2015 J-Man Radio had it’s first show live on Caster FM and started a 15 hour stream playing just 70’s 80’s 90’s . As the weeks and months went by we started having listeners outside of the U.S. in the U.K. demanding us to get a 24/7 stream and on our 1st birthday we did just that. We got our first Indie artist send us their music at the end of 2015 and started playing Indie and variety.

2016-2018 Award Show Celebrations + Logo Change + First Indie Artists Airplay

J-Man Radio got the first Indie artist airplay and Interview which was with country artist Ashley Taylor in 2016 which was her first radio interview in her career and then we got contacted by pop artist Audrey Callahan on Twittter to play her music and we contacted pop artist Mindy Braasch to play her tracks as well as EDM producer Tixology and was the first one to play his tracks as well as interview him. We started having award shows to help support them succeed.  J-Man Radio Awards was created in 2017, also the Top 10 Countdown was created in 2016!

J-Man Radio went through some logo changes over the years, we loved every single one of them but we had to change the logo, here is the logos that we had all listed down below!

Today and Beyond

J-Man Radio took a year off of the air and relaunched on January 23,2022 with a brand new logo and management help from our new co owner Jacob Lee who helps run the station with Jordan and takes care of the back work of the station and helps programs the station! We are glad to be back here ready to help Indie artist and bands worldwide and play the coolest variety!

The Yummy Incident: Jordan the PR Pro

Jordan proved to be a PR pro after the Yummy Incident, an issue that may have seriously damaged his reputation had he not cleared his name with his persuasive communication skills.

On January 6, 2022, Jordan disclosed the following information about an incident regarding J-Man Radio in January 2020. Jordan reported his suspicions that the notorious/nefarious Rodney, affiliate of RMG, hacked into one of his social media accounts and posted a “nasty half naked pic of a lady that [said] yummy on it.” This post ultimately led to artist Jennifer [REDACTED] distancing herself from J-Man Radio.

On January 3, 2020, Jordan sent a message to Jennifer’s manager letting her know that the artist’s music would be pulled from the station. The reasoning for this decision included her “lack of support” for the show, as she did not post on social media about her involvement with J-Man Radio or involve her fans in the Top 100 Countdown, making Jordan feel that she did not care about the station. Jordan cited an issue with the artist reposting materials from Indie Star Radio and not his own station. She was also allegedly supposed to participate in a birthday party stream, which she did not do, instead opting to participate in a charity stream.

The artist’s manager soon responded, letting Jordan know that the artist was streaming to support the Make A Wish Foundation. The manager also revealed that the aforementioned photo “totally tainted” her opinion of Jordan and the station, leading her to instruct the artist to distance herself from J-Man Radio.

Jordan retorted that it was ludicrous to suggest that he would post that kind of content. He stated that he believed:

“there was no charity event she made it up because she didn’t want to come to the party stream because of this misunderstanding.”

Jordan has since recovered his reputation and J-Man Radio has been left unscathed from its hacking.

On January 1, 2022, Jordan posted on Twitter saying:

This post linked to a YouTube video in which it was announced that J-Man Radio, which ended in June 2020, will be coming back in 2022. In this video, it is revealed that Jacob Lee will be paying for the station while Jordan runs it, making them both co-owners of J-Man Radio.

Indie Star Radio (Aug. 2020 – Sept. 2020)

S4E2 of the TalkCast Podcast, “I Got Verbally Harrassed….DUDE!” detailed Jordan’s experience with Indie Star Radio. The description reads as follows:

I come out and speak about me getting verbally harassed by Indie Star Radio and the founder doesn’t even care says “I have a raw personality that needs to be fixed” I also talk more about me getting pulled off of the voting form of Lego Indie Music Awards 2020 because of me having the freedom of speech and commenting how I felt! ‘Disclaimer’ I have a back spasm at the end of this recording that happened out of no where don’t be alarmed it’s a side effect from the steroid I’m using for my allergies that I’m currently stopping

It is clear that Jordan felt bitterness towards Indie Star Radio, evidenced by the description of Episode 11 later in the season:

In this episode: Jordan talks about him getting verbally harassed at Indie Star Radio by their staff members and why you don’t need to listen to them

Jordan explains his bitterness in great detail during the aforementioned S4E2 of the TalkCast Podcast. The information provided by Jordan in the episode cannot be corroborated with public evidence, thus, the following information is solely Jordan’s hearsay and allegations.

According to Jordan, station owner Alan took time off from work, leaving Jordan with DJ Ant, a former DJ for Indie Star Radio. DJ Ant was apparently “not the best DJ” because Jordan had to assist her in dragging and dropping song files from Dropbox into their broadcasting program. He remarks that staff continuously told him that he said and did things incorrectly, including announcing songs in a way they were not pleased with. Jordan attests that he experienced verbal harassment from staff, this harassment contributing to the development of PTSD.

One day, before Jordan’s show, someone direct-messaging him resulted in Jordan having a panic attack. This panic attack delayed the start time of his show, beginning the broadcast five minutes late. This is the incident that caused him to be put on probation.

Another major issue that Jordan encountered was a miscommunication on the creation of a promotional banner image. The graphic designer for the station was unable to create a banner due to the destruction and devastation being caused by Hurricane Laura at the time, meaning that Jordan was tasked with this job. Jordan was sent an image with text already added to the banner, and because of this, he argued that he could not alter the font. At this point, Jordan read screenshots of his messages with staff during the S4E2 podcast episode, disclosing their full names. Many of the texts read aloud are nearly impossible to transcribe due to the mocking tone of Jordan’s voice as he imitates each person’s voice, but the most crucial texts have been archived:

Ash (assistant manager): Please make Ant’s times the same size as yours.

Jordan: I didn’t do the text. The pic came with the text, so whoever did the text can edit that part.

Ash: You can edit the text and make it the same size.

[Tracey is introduced at this point, being described by Jordan as the “bitch that got on my nerves. She’s the one that harassed me.”]

Tracey: Exactly what point are you not going to get that you need to do the work without being a pain in the ass?

Ant: Me or J-Man?

Jordan: Both of us.

Tracey: J-Man; No, Ant, you are fine.

Jordan: Oh yeah, her computer’s been a pain in the ass.

Tracey then said that the DJ should “never be the important part” of a radio broadcast.

Jordan vents his frustrations at their conversation:

“It ain’t my fault that their brains are on drugs and they don’t know what the heck they’re talking about…the DJs are as important as the artists that are getting played. The artists are important, but not as important as DJs, because without DJs, the music’s not getting played unless you are on auto DJ or some crap like that.”

S4E2 of the TalkCast Podcast, “I Got Verbally Harrassed….DUDE!”

These events led to Jordan quitting the station. Towards the end of the podcast episode, Jordan reveals that Alan, owner of Indie Star Radio, told him that his personality was “too raw” for radio. Jordan, audibly upset, responded to Alan’s comment:

“Fuck you. I know that. His LEGO ballsack is as big as his personality. Like, his LEGO ballsack, if you look at his LEGO character, Alan [REDACTED], his LEGO ballsack is as big as…as everything of his. Like, his personality is not big at all. My personality is bigger than his, and that’s saying a lot. His management team sucks.”

Quote begins at 20:09

It is important to note that the LEGO related commentary is the result of these events coinciding with the LEGO Indie Awards, to which Jordan discusses winning the award for Adorable Mini-Me. Information provided in the podcast cannot be corroborated with other sources, thus, the event has not yet been documented.

On December 28, 2021, Jordan reflected on his experience with Indie Star Radio via direct messages with Anon to J. Because Jordan is notorious for doxxing the personal information of naysayers, last names have been censored for privacy protection.

Cool Jamz Radio

On December 19, 2021, Jordan revealed more details about the history of Cool Jamz Radio via direct messages with Anon to J. He also revealed that he would be launching “The Variety Show with Jordan Adler” on Cool Jamz Radio.

The events alluded to with the phrase “Rodney’s mess” are a byproduct of the Rebel Saga, a period of Jordan’s life documented on the Jordan Timeline. He elaborates on Rodney, Chase Parker, and Rebel Media Group in S4E11 of the TalkCast Podcast, “Forced to Quit Radio.”

On February 11, 2022, Jordan announced via Instagram that he was leaving Cool Jamz Radio to pursue projects like “Finding Maria,” The TalkCast Podcast, and J-Man Radio.
